Folks! When you are here, it means you are already having a taste of the fashion, weather its clothes, jewellery or personal style, you adore fashion. I am starting my fashion journey through every day chic. And this is my first blog.
Let’s take a look on my background – I am a B.Tech graduate in computer science and an experienced writer by profession. I have done technical, creative and business based writing. So I am pursuing my both hobbies together Fashion and Writing. Boom there will be blast.
The purpose of starting this blog is to live a half-filled dream and to fix the problems related to fashion. You will get new ideas, hacks, mix and match and a way more.
Once upon a time, I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. I used to draw sketches on the last pages of my notebooks, filling them with different colors, handbags, and accessories. I often tried to recreate the latest costumes worn by actresses in songs or movies.
While playing with dolls, I would stitch and design western outfits for them with great care. Dressing them gracefully and experimenting with silhouettes became my way of practicing design, long before I even knew what fashion design really meant.
And it doesn’t stop there, I had filled the NIFT form without any formal preparation. My natural fashion sense and basic knowledge helped me clear the exam with more than 70 percent. But since there were only two NIFT universities near Jaipur—one in Jodhpur and the other in Delhi—I decided to go ahead and take admission. But my father was more focused on my marriage proposal and I was expected to become an adarshwadi bahu, ready to leave my career behind to fulfill the desires of my in-laws. So, I had to step away from my dream. Well, yes I am a wife, mother and a daughter in law till now. But I have also gained experience in different fields, I earned a lot. But there’s always a feeling that something was left unfinished, even after all these years — sometimes under the weight of responsibilities, sometimes for want of time. And what is the ‘right time’? It never arrives; you have to bring it forth yourself. When you awaken, that is when the dawn comes.“
Obviously, I am not going to study any course, but here on this blog, I will give you solid fashion advice that can bring out the best in you, and so that I can live my dream too. it only takes a few waves to get you wet.
